Some of the BEST Chinese Buffets on Long Island |

DJ’s International Buffet
Delivers The Goods There must be someone new
in the kitchen at DJ’s International Buffet in Garden City. After a
considerable absence, we returned to DJ’s to find a much expanded and
higher quality menu. DJ’s was always a go for a quick Chinese buffet
pick-me up. But it was not in the league of East Buffet or Harvest in
Little Neck. Perhaps the closing of East (now relaunched as Best
Buffet) motivated DJ’s to improve their offerings. Prime r Dynasty Buffet Gateway Plaza Mall, Patchogue ![]() |

With
a bargain menu that includes weekday lunch specials for $3.99, Jani
in Franklin Square is one of the best Japanese food buys on the Island.
Jani is well regarded for its extensive sushi menu, and for those working
in South or West Nassau and looking for a place to unwind at lunch,
it doesn’t get any better than this. They use only the freshest
fish, and it shows. Our resident sushi expert recommends the saba (mackerel),
and maguro (patty tuna). For those looking to take a step up from the
usual California Roll, Jani have an exceptional Spicy Tuna Roll, at
an unusually accommodating price, too. While Jani hits the spot during the weekdays’ hurried lunchtime hours, it is also an excellent place for a leisurely family meal at night or on the weekends. On Saturdays and Sundays, they offer a lunch buffet for the bargain price of $6.95, from 11: 30 am to 3:00 pm. Jani’s service is also incredibly friendly, fast and helpful, even during the busiest of hours. |
